mama loves keely

I am so blessed to have this sweet, adorable girl! I love her more each and everyday. Last night she slept through the entire night! Even more shocking...I did too! I woke up at 6:30 in disbelief.

Isn't the flower clippie in her hair cute! Our friends in Utah gave us a bunch of adorable clippies. They have a really cute baby boutique.

Surgery

Today I had my gallbladder removed. I can't say I am going to miss it one bit. In fact last night I had another attack, I guess it wanted to say goodbye one final time. Just my luck. I know I shouldn't complain I could have it much worse. Everything went pretty well, considering I remember nothing. I really like Mercy Gilbert Medical Ctr. they give you a small shot to numb before the IV. This girl HATES IV's so that made the whole experience better for me.

Here are all the pretty flowers and fruit flowers I got today! My family and friends are the best. Thanks to Tiffany Campbell for bringing a yummy dinner! Or so my family said it was yummy (No one told me I had to have a liquid diet for a couple of days)

2 months already?!

Keely is 2 months old! We went today for her 2 month check up. She is 10lbs 10oz (50% for her age) 23 1/4 inches long (75% for her age) and I can't remeber the size of her head but I do remember that it was the 10%. I thought she had a normal to large head, I guess it is just all hair =)

Hunter is so cute!

My nephew Hunter is so cute. I just had to post this.

He will be 2 on October 1st.

New Hobby

Kevin isn't a fan of HUGE bows and big headbands. But with all her hair I had to do something! I think they turned out pretty cute. If any of you would like one, let me know.

*** SURGERY UPDATE***
I am going in on either the 22nd or the 29th. They are calling me this week to let me know. Scary... I am so glad to have my sister close and I think my mom said she is going to come back to help me and the baby.

Gallbladder...

So this has just been a great weekend for me. Friday I went to Urgent care for my fingers (2 of them are infected by my nails) I will spare you the photos. Saturday night I got this sudden pain in my upper stomach and proceeded to throw up about 10x and the pain wasn't going away. After about an hour I had Kevin take me to the ER and it turns out I have gallstones. They wanted to do surgery today but after I hold him I had a new baby at home he said I could wait. I have to schedule a follow-up appointment with my normal DR and I will know more than. First weekend with out company and this happens, FUN TIMES.

Why do they say "Sleeping like a baby?"

Keely only likes to sleep on her Bobby Newborn Lounger. You lay her down flat and she wakes up in about 10 seconds. We bought a movement sensor/monitor that will go off if she doesn't move after 20 seconds. Its pretty cool, it detects her breathing, which gives me peace of mind. But seriously, why do they say "sleeping like a baby"??? Babies don't really sleep that great. At least mine doesn't. She isn't bad but she still gets up to eat and for a diaper change and does a fair amount of grunting. Maybe because they can fall asleep in what I would think uncomfortable positions and at any given time?

This last weekend we had more visitors! My sister Amy and brother Kelly and his family came to visit. We had 4 out of the 6 siblings here in AZ! We went to the new Chandler pool and to the Arizona Museum of Natural History. The weather was really nice this weekend (by AZ standards) I don't think it got past 99 degrees. We are so lucky to have so many loved ones who want to come see baby Keely. Though I can't blame them, she is soooo cute and sweet.
