Trying to sleep in her crib
I don't know if you can tell or not, but these are Keely's feet sticking out of the crib. Since we have been back from Utah, I have been toying with having her sleep in her own crib in her own room. Well the first night I heard her screaming and she had one leg out of the bars and an arm and she was not liking it. (Not to mention the many times of rolling over on her tummy and getting stuck) The second night she managed to roll over and get her feet out the bars... as seen in the photo. Last night she managed to sleep in her crib from 10pm till 4:45 a big accomplishment for us both. (I did go check on her at about 2am) I admit it... I like having her in my room. When she wakes up she is only a few feet away (who likes to walk far when they are half asleep?!) plus I feel she is safer in our room. Who knows, she could be my only baby (not by choice) and I want her to be a baby for as long as I can.
On a side note... Keely tried her first food this week, other than cereal, Sweet Potatoes. She likes them much better than cereal. But man that stuff can stain!

So cute! I love her hair ALWAYS. :) The crib is a big step. I always hated that, but in the end, it's better because they make so much noise. I have the BEST stain remover. I'll give you some if you want it.
Addy slept in our room by the bed until she was 7 months old! I was the same way! I loved having her in there. You know...so I could protect her. haha!
I love the picture of her feet hanging out. That is so cute!
Good Luck!
I love how she is trying to escape by backing up throught he bars! That picture cracks me up!
I love the photo of her feet hanging out, and by the way I got a peek of Keely's photos that Whitney did and they turned out so cute!
Hey! Thanks for the suggestion. I'll ask my doctor about that. I hadn't heard that before....interesting.
Thank you :o)
WAIT A SECOND -- you were in Utah and didn't come to visit?!?!
Elizabeth loved sweet potatoes better than anything else, too. Try mixing the taters with rice cereal. (it's not like she needs to gain weight).
glad to hear that all is going well.
love,
cousin Kathy
One hyphenated word: Oxi-clean. I've yet to meet the baby food or former food (ha!) it can't remove. It even gets rid of blood, not that I have a vast amount of experience with that, but my hubby does play church ball. Also, it's hard moving to the crib, but honestly, it was the best move I ever made. It's nice to get your space back, you don't realize how much it stresses you out to have them right there until they're not. Seriously.
